  1. Best for a AR 47 Build 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th May 2016

This is the one you want to build one of these uppers. Top notch all the way around. Only chrome lined barrel i know of, i did not want the nitrided barrels. The military uses chrome lined that is the way for me. You definitely get what you pay for. Thanks Green Mountain for offering this.

  2. Nice fit and finish 4 Star Review

This barrel fit nicely into the upper and has a nice finish. Gas hole is drilled correctly . I cannot really speak for the accuracy as I have only shot cheap ammo through it.

  3. Speechless 5 Star Review

I threw together my first x39 upper with this barrel in about an hour after all parts recieved. Thumps out cheap steel cased at 1-2 moa scoped, Hornady SST at just about 1moa. Sure my .223 ar's will go 1/2 moa...at over a buck a round. This goes thuddy thuddy on steel all day for about a quarter. Groups hardly effected by heat, this barrel is g2g, no fear of giving it some hard service. I have a feeling it will remain accurate and be hard to kill. Good stuff.

  5. A++,another sucessful build with GM barrel 5 Star Review

Posted by on 4th Sep 2015

Considered using a pre-pinned fsb barrel to save some time, but then I was looking over my last build with GM barrel, and did not want to risk having an inferior upper that I wouldn't be happy with.If your like me and have a dozen companies on your favorites list, put these guys at the top, they care about the quality of their product, and their customers.*****
