I have two Colt AR-15 SP1's and I love the way they shoot... they are the closest thing to an infantry laser that I could get. Lots of research convinced me to build something around the original 1:14 twist. My first trip to the range gave me a 20-round magazine into a 3.5" diameter group at 200 yards, from a hot (free-floated) barrel, using Federal XM193!
I am here buying another one right now!

Im getting .75 five shot groups at 100 yards with 52gr Hornady Steel and 1” groups with 55gr Tula, looking forward to seeing what some reloads can do.

I used this barrel on my build and I am very pleased with everything about the barrel. Accuracy is awesome with 55gr FMJ (cheap ammo). I will select this barrel for my next build.
Service and shipping was first class.

Used the barrel for a 22 long rifle conversion.
Blocked the gas port with a 4-40 set screw. left the gas tube and buffer out of the rifle.
Used a cmmg bolt assembly so the rifle could be switched back to 5.56 by removing the set screw and installing a gas block and tube and buffer assembly.
The rifle shoots really well and the chrome lined barrel is very easy to clean.
