  1. Great Barrel at a Great Price! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st May 2018

I ordered the 10.5" barrel for an AR Pistol i was putting together, and it easily met, even exceeded my expectations. The gas port does seem to be a little over-sized, but that's nothing an adjustable gas block and/or heavier buffer/buffer spring can't fix (which I was planning to do anyway). The finish looks top notch both inside and out. The accuracy seems very good, but I've only shot out to 50 yards so far (and only ~200 rounds). Finally, the shipping time was outstanding: ordered the barrel on a Monday (4/30), and it was delivered via UPS on Wednesday (5/2). This was my first Green Mountain purchase, but it certainly will not be my last!

  2. 10.5 chrome lined barrel 5 Star Review

Barrel works great for my pistol build

  3. Way Over Gassed 2 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Apr 2017

This barrel is over gassed at .85 - .87 gas port
Need I say more. BCG keeps outrunning the magazine and Causes jams . Hopefully H3 buffer with extra power buffer spring will fix it.

  4. Best barrel yet 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Feb 2017

I built a 10.5" SBR with this barrel and could not be any happier. Tolerances were very tight, which makes everything easier to build. Night and day difference to the Bear Creek Arsenal barrel on my last build.

  5. Nearly as good as my BCM BFH 16" 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Dec 2016

I built an AR pistol using a less expensive 10.5" PSA barrel and was disappointed with its accuracy at 36 yards. The groups were more like a shotgun pattern. This Green Mountain 10.5" barrel groups almost as well as my 16" BCM BFH cold hammer forged barrel at 36 yards using various types of 55, 62 75 and 77 grain bullets in 223 and 556 NATO loadings. Very pleased with the Green Mountain barrel so far. Also, the customer support was great.
