  2. Another great barrel from GM 5 Star Review

I've purchased 3 of these barrels in the past 2yrs and each has met my expectations. I build AR's for varmint shooting and a quality barrel is a must. From a bench I'm getting 1" groups @ 200yds using Hornady's SuperPerformance Varmint 53gr V max ammo. Running X193 ball ammo my groups open up to about 1.5" at 200yds.
GM is quick to ship, packaging is on point and I'll continue to buy GM barrels.

  3. if you do your part, you will out perform most barrels out there 5 Star Review

Had great results with standard ball ammo. Cheap gecco ammo at moa and sub moa at 100 yards. With black hills and razor core match ammo I shot as good as I did with pmcxtac 62 grain at least at 100-250. Ringing steel was child's play out to 700 yards

  4. great product 5 Star Review

The barrel was heavy and felt sturdy. Ive put about 250 rounds through it with no problems whatsoever. Not the mention, the shipping was quick as well.

Would buy again from green mountain barrels

  5. Pleased with purchase. 5 Star Review

I bought this barrel just prior to Christmas; however, my wife intercepted it and wrapped it. Opened this morning and assembled rifle. Was packaged well and I cleaned prior to assembly. Test fired and sighted in with no issues. At this point I am very pleased with performance. Could only sight in at 50 yards with irons but accuracy was good @ approx 3/4 inch with American Eagle 62 grain (AE223N). Unlike others, I did not experience any miracles with ball-type ammo and mil-type trigger, but I didn't expect to. I have more expensive barrels that fair no better (and a little worse). Plan on additional tests tomorrow with better ammunition but thus far it appears to be a well made barrel and an excellent value. I do wish GM would provide pinned FSB or gas block as option. I do not like set screws.
