  1. Finally ! A 7.62 x 39 barrel with a twist rate that handles sub sonic rounds. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Jul 2019

After an exhaustive search on the web for a barrel to fit my 7.62 x 39 I came across Green Mountain. The barrel I wanted was not in production but after a conversation with the company, got one released for me. I dropped it into a PSA factory lower with factory bcg and am nothing short of happier than hell. Cycles Atomic sub sonic with a supressor and NO TUMBLE !!! Thanks guys, have told maybe 10 people so far about you and will continue to. Great product.

Went and shot the GM-M46 16.5" 7.62x39 mm AR15 Experimental 1:8" for the first time and was very pleased with the accuracy at 100 yards.

  3. Zdorovo 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th May 2016

Zdorovo is Russian for awesome, at least that's what Google said. I really enjoy my 762x39 AR15 build, especially with this barrel. For and finish is superb, always expect a good product from GM - especially for the price.

The 1:8 twist makes the x39 round more stable mid way through its supersonic flight, well into transonic. You can see signs of minor over stabilization at close range (I was sparking steel at 50m). Nice groups at 2-300m and hits on steel at 400. I'm professional marksman by trade so I can appreciate what a faster twist rate can do for a shooter. so far I've only shot Golden Tiger out of the barrel. I don't have any complains. I can do close quarters shooting drills as well as ring steel at mid range distances with this barrel. Thanks GM for making it!
