  1. Just buy it 5 Star Review

I bought this when the only 10.3 available was from Daniel defense or some cheap company. Not going to lie I want expecting much for the price. But I'll tell you what, my AR recoils soft and I pushed it to 150 years nailing my steel plate. I got a regular gas block and no jams. 600 rounds through zero issues, definitely get one.

  2. Enjoying 10.3" of perfection! 5 Star Review

I wasn't sure exactly how this shorty would perform but I was pleasantly surprised with it's performance. Was thinking it would be slightly over gassed and almost purchased an adjustable block just to be safe but I didn't and glad I didn't waste the $ because it is absolutely perfect running an M16 carrier and standard carbine spring and buffer. It cycles softer than all my other 16" carbine mid gas barrels I run including the GM-M8 sold here. I built a MK18 clone and think this barrel is absolutely perfect including the chrome lining which leads me to my second point.
The accuracy out of this little barrel blew my mind being this is chrome lined and shorter to boot. I zeroed it in with 6 rounds at 50yrds and then checked the 50/200yrd zero which I figured would need some hold over because of the loss in velocity being nearly 5" short of the standard 16". So I centered the sight at a 1/3 ipsc steel hanger at 200yrds and hit dead centers shot after shot. Incredible!
This is one of my favorite barrels I've used and will definitely build several more with this one being the heart of the build. Thanks again Green Mtn!
