This is one of many photos taken the day of this USRA/IR50/50 Match. The rifle and stock was built by Leo Bourne's Secret Spot Gun Shop in Richmond, Va. Over the past year and a half, I have been campaigning 2 versions of the Ruger 10/22 in USRA Unlimited Benchrest Matches. Anyone interested in following my progress can find me on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Leo-Bournes-Secret-Spot-Gun-Shop/185896024791925. A semi auto rifle can and does compete with bolt action rifles.

Shooting session T/C Hawken GM IBS, .54, 1:28 twist, 1" barrel, 7-31-12, 75 yds, sunny, light breeze from behind, 75 *F, 1X Nikon Buckmasters Scope. Also see target 1 and 2. During this shooting session I first fouled the barrel with about 7 gr FFFg and 20 gr Pyrodex RS and a tight wadded up patch over the powder. I cleaned the bore with a TC #13 cleaner wet patch and a dry patch both sides following each shot. I shot from a bench rest and sand bags with 7 gr FFFg below 100 gr of Pyrodex RS, (prevents ignition delay) CCI #11 cap, Hornady Great Plains 425 gr.bullet. All Shots were weighed volume (72 gr) of Pyrodex RS equiv to 100 gr measured, 7 gr FFFg was measured, bullets weighed 425 gr + or - 0.5 gr. (Avg 1350FPS) This barrel shoots like a dream and it only took me about 3 short shooting sessions to find this load. What is so great about it is the same load shots Hornady SST 250 gr with a Sabot (target 2) and also .530 RB / .015 patch which I have not grouped yet.
