  1. WOW! I AM IMPRESSED! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Apr 2020

I though it was getting to be time to update the 10/22 I bought 40 years ago. Did a lot of research, spoke to several gunsmiths. Bought a whole bunch of components. The Green Mountain barrels were highly recommend, so I called and ordered one. I retired this year and finally had the time to put it together. On break in day (shoot, clean between rounds) I check the target after every shot .... straight outta the box .... first three shots at 75 yards ...... 3/8” group! I am definitely impressed with this barrel. I’m recommending your barrels to all my friends!

  2. Accuracy is is good 5 Star Review

Built a 1022 with this barrel and an Archangel adjustable stock. Used PMC 40 grain High velocity ammo. Ran 40 rounds through the barrel and the results are at 25 yards, 10 rounds through on hole about 1/4 in diameter, at 50 yards, 4 rounds in a 3/8 in group and 4 rounds at 100 yards, 4 rounds in a 5/8 in group. The rifle shoots better than I can. Accuracy is as expected.

  4. great improvement 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th May 2016

I wanted to use my 10/22 as a training rifle.
I took it to the range and was very disappointed with the results. I tried every brand of ammo I could get my hands on and the results were 3 to 4" groups at 50 yards.
I decided to try one of these barrels and it was amazing.
1/2" groups are normal and with match ammo it can do a little better. I haven't had any issues with reliability.
If you want to upgrade your rifle, this is a great way to do it.

  5. way Cool! 5 Star Review

A friend of mine bought a Green Mountain barrel for his custom 10/22. I liked the look and loved the feel of it - just enough weight to lay steady in your hand when shouldering the rifle. Now I have one of my own! From the bench I got nice groups. I'm happy!
