1. Green Mountain rocks

   After after a long time of research I determined that Green Mountain was the way to go I have used their products in the past and have been very satisfied with the performance of the barrels that I have bought from them I purchased a 28 inch stainless steel barrel to build a custom 10/22 after assembling the gun going through about 500 rounds of break-in thoroughly cleaning the Gun & Barrel after about 50 round strings I am now experiencing about a 3/8 of an inch group at 50 yards and about a three quarter inch group at a hundred yards using I would say average cheap plunking ammunition used some higher-end and ignition hundred-yard groups are coming in at around five eighths of an inch and very very pleased with the performance of The Green Mountain 28-inch barrel this is my second 10-22 custom build and I am going to go back to my first build which had a 20 inch bull barrel fluted Rim remove it and buy another 28 in I know for a fact that the groups will tighten up this Barrel is superb and its performance highly recommend to all of my friends

2. second 28” barrel the first gun shoots subsonic match ammo in.39” groups at 50yds . and 1” at 100 yds

   Now I’m building a 200 yd gun with this one Kidd receiver and two stage trigger the barrel was a perfect tap on fit . Fit and finish are great they love Winchester 40 grn. Subsonic ammo both guns are quieter then my airguns . Extra weight makes it steady for offhand shooting . Thanks greenmountain .

3. Upgrade that's worth far more than the price!

   Wanted to improve the accuracy of my 10/22, so I installed this barrel to replace the stock Ruger .920 SS 20" bull barrel. The results are undeniable and very satisfactory; this barrel even improved the accuracy of cheap plinking ammo! I am now shooting Eley ammo exclusively - even the least expensive Eley target ammo delivers sub 1/2" groups at 50 yards with this barrel. This barrel is terrific - I only wish they made a version for a Ruger 77/17 HMR!

4. fantastic barrel at a great price

   I bought this barrel as part of a 10/22 build. I never dreamed this monster size barrel would group as well as it does. I kept hearing how after 18" a .22 round has reached its max potential and will suffer in accuracy. Not at all true !!!! This barrel with standard velocity ammo is burning up the same hole at 50 yards. Go big or go home !!!

5. GREAT BARREL

   I placed this barrel on my 10/22 Ruger with a custom stock from Boyd's looks great and boy can it shot 100 yard is like at 50 yards nice tight groups with a 50.00 scope. Thank you for your fast service and a high quality barrel.if I ever have the need for more barrel I will be back.(28" stainless .920).
