  1. It looks good and shoots great 5 Star Review

I bought this barrel as an upgrade to my stock ruger 1022 bb. I was going to get a volquartsen barrel, since I got my hammer, extractor, and firing pin upgrade from them. However, a friend told me to check out the selection at green mountain, as that's what he has on all his rugers. The price was great and it shoots well. I liked the old fashioned style of this barrel right away, many other companies make ones that look like they belong on a sci-fi show. After breaking in the barrel, I shoot 3 inch groups at 100 yards with a 4x fixed power Nikon scope. Only complaint is that a small amount of rust rubs off when the outside of the barrel is wiped down with an oilrag.

  2. Awesome 10/22 replacement barrel 5 Star Review

Green Mount makes one of the best barrels I ever used on a 10/22 receiver. The quality of the finish and design of the heavy bull fluted barrel is second to none. I've used several other (some much more expensive) barrels from other companies on 10/22 builds before and none looked or performed better than this barrel. I used this barrel in a ZK-22 bullpup stock and after breaking it in per Green Mountain instructions, I preceded to start shooting various ammo to find what would shoot best in this barrel. I was amazed at how accurate this barrel is. Shooting Federal, CCI, Remington and Centurion ammo I found that I could shoot 1" inch groups at 50 yards easily with 3 out of 4 brands of ammo. One brand was closer to 1.25" inch groups but that's still fantastic for a .22lr round. Bravo Green Mountain... I'll be back for more!
