Wow! I am VERY impressed with my new barrel. I am printing sub-MOA 5-shot groups with several different loads. Seems that I am often shooting ragged one-hole groups, especially when I do my part, with controlled breathing and slowly pressing the trigger. Money very well spent. Best group so far was a five-shot clean hole measuring just 0.13" ctc! I framed it, hehehe!

The replacement barrel for my Ruger Precision Rifle has exceeded expectations for accuracy. Getting great groups at 50 (.112”),100 (.873”), and 150 (1.624”) yards with the right ammunition. The replacement process was simple once the factory barrel was removed. Apparently Ruger likes high torque numbers. Just follow Green Mountain’s barrel break-in procedure and you will not be disappointed.

When I purchased my Ruger Precision Rimfire I knew there were after market barrels for it if it didn't shoot well. After two weeks of shooting, and several hundred rounds I was not satisfied with accuracy. Occasionally it would produce a very good group but not constantly. Didn't matter what type of ammo, it would have flyers. One or two would stray from five shot groups. I went with the Green Mountain mostly for the price point compared to others. I couldn't be happier! I'm consistently shooting .3 to .4 five shot groups at 50 yards with a "bad" group being around a half inch with RWS R50, expensive I know but to me it's worth it. Eley Club does very well also on the lower price range ammo. Factory barrel never did this. I rarely do reviews on products but this barrel is an excellent upgrade for the RPR!!!
