I put this on to see if my scores would improve at a local 600 point, 100 yard match. I went from 540's to 580's. I highly recommend it.

Purchased a Ruger Precision Rimfire in .22 Long Rifle. It was just an OK Rifle, and with continued use, I began to dislike it's trigger, and found it not capable of being competitive in our 100 yard Rifle League. We use SR 1 Military Targets, and we have few 150 15x scores shot by .22 Long Rifle guns. We have a Remington 40x shooter, who has shot clean on a couple of occasions. We have 3 Ruger Precision Rimfire users, who have shot multiple 150 scores, with x oounts as high as 11x. Mine would never shoot above 7x. I gained an x with a trigger change, and picked up another 6 x's with a change to a Green Mountain Barrel. The improvement has been remarkable. Installation was incredibly easy, and the results in improvement immediate I shot a 150 13x on my first try with the new Green Mountain Barrel. The original barrel would never shoot that well. The improvement is something you can see as you shoot. Green Mountain Barrels are well worth installing.

Ordered this barrel & received it in 3 days. Followed all instruction on installation of barrel, turned out even easier then expected. Chose not to use a go- no go gauge, because everything seemed to fit exactly as it is suppose to. Took it out to my range & followed the company suggested break in process, I didn't get half way through the ten round cycle & it started grouping tighter & tighter. #00 rounds later it is sub MOA at 50yrds, Half inch or less. Hoping to put another 200 -300 rounds through her before I start ammo testing. Already seems to like SK Rifle Match & CCI Green Tag. Shot an IBS 50 Yard Rimfire target with the SK shot a 235 out of 250 with & with the Green Tag a 234. Later planning on trying some ELR to see how far out I can take her. I am happier at this stage then I thought I would!! If you are tired of "flyers" then spend the $200 bucks! Oh & their Customer Service is off the Charts!!! Very helpful on line & on the phone!

I was so disappointed with my Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle that I almost sold it. I tried various torque values and even beaded the stock to no avail. With this barrel and Butler Creek magazines the rifle out shoots my CZ 452 by a small margin. The butler creek fits tighter in the mag well and is an in-line feed. I did not get any bullet shaving like I did with the Ruger mags. Wonderful barrel at a great price.

This is a great barrel, it fit perfect and
has outstanding accuracy even out to 200 yards.
