  1. 7.62x37 AK Gunsmith Barrel 5 Star Review

Excellent product, fast delivery, good quality, great accuracy and easy to order. I would recommend Green Mountain barrels to anyone who like building guns. This is why I use GM!!!!

  2. consistently good quality 5 Star Review

This barrel is no different than any of the other barrel blanks I have purchased from Green Mountain, they have all been consistently good quality and excellent tolerances. That is why I only buy GM barrels for my projects.

Excellent quality, delivered quickly. GM lives up to their reputation.

  4. 7.62X39 3 Star Review

Looks nice, haven't shot it, but should be nice. It is not a 1 inch blank, it is 1 1/4 inch, does make a difference when you are turning one on a small lathe, but if you have more time than money I guess it is OK, would have prefered if it was 1 inch like it states it is.

  5. Short 4 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Mar 2014

The barrels quality seems to be excellent. My only gripe is about the cut to length tolerance, they are advertised as 20" but actually came up short by a 1/16". Whenever I buy steel or other materials the tolerance is always on the plus side, giving you a little bit of extra to work with for cutting and machining. I am making two 9-7/8" barrels out of these blanks, I have just barely enough material after cutting and facing assuming no mistakes to accomplish this.
