  1. Shot 2in moa at 300yds 5 Star Review

Milled front end for rifle length gas tube with .936 gas block. Weight of barrel adds to the stability of bench rest shooting!

  2. Superb Quality BBL 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Dec 2019

Oh hum. Just another 1st rate barrel from GMRB. Machined this baby up, mounted it to the upper receiver, test fired it to break it in, then put 60 rounds thru it to see what groups I could squeeze out of it. Went by GMRB break-in recommendations. This chambered blank shoots holes out of lifesavers.
I was chuckling while seeing how accurate I could shoot it. The scene from the Beverly Hillbillies where Jed and Jethro are taking turns aiming from the front porch of their mansion shooting the wings off flies down at the front gate with their flintlocks. LOL's! Going to need a $2000 Trijicon scope and a $300 dollar super match trigger and match grade ammo to get near to the accuracy potential of this barrel.
But then again, it shoots so well as it sits, there is no practical need for me to go to that extreme. Might have to have spent up to $500 bucks to get a ready to shoot bbl this good.
And that is exactly what I wanted. Excellent offhand hunting accuracy out to 300 yards. No worries, complete confidence as long as I do my part. The guys in NH did the really hard parts that make an accurate bbl. The rifling and chamber is so perfect looking it's scary.
    Appreciate you all, thank you.
If your thinking of getting one, go for it. I can not recommend one enough.

  3. Rifle Jewelery 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Dec 2019

Machined this chambered blank on centers from the mid-length gas port location forward at .875 O.D., 11 degree crown, 5/8-28 thread, drilled the gas port .093 diameter, installed set up using a rifle buffer & flat wire buffer spring. First 10 shot group as a break in set, using Federal XM80 mil spec FMJ at 50 yards made a clover leaf pattern. Using Troy iron sights. Then ran a box of 20 rounds to zero out the sights, and once zeroed made another 10 round clover leaf group.
Waiting on a scope and rings for after Christmas sometime to sight in for a 200 yard zero. Will revise this review then.
Extremely pleased with the practical accuracy. I'm not a precision long range shooter, in that light if this barrel provides me with a 2-4 inch zero under real field off hand 200 yard accuracy I will be totally happy with the results. Results with iron sights indicate this is a no brainer. Once rifling is broke in accuracy consistency should increase.
This .308 barrel is the 5th AR platform GMRB chambered blank I have built a weapon around, (2, 300 BLK and 2, .556 bbls), and I mean exactly that, builds specifically starting with one of these fine chambered blanks as the central component. Asides from the splendid cost savings which are considerable, and leaves extra funds in the build budget to purchase a high grade high pressure precision bolt & firing pin, verses a fully machined bolt on barrel, I'm able to devote time and effort to dialing in the concentricity and parallelism on the lathe to effect super match tolerances, .0001 -.0002, on the finished muzzle and threading.
The results have been nothing short of rifles that consistently without fail out-class my shooting skills, while the accuracy of the barrel itself is so good it makes up a considerable amount for the deficiencies in my most careful shooting.

    Great Product & Concept.
    Very Reasonable Pricing.
    Cost Effective.
    High Precision.
Top Shelf Weapons Grade Alloys & Components.
    Off The Charts Confidence Factor.
    Made in NH.

Get one, you will be happy.

You can't beat this barrel, period! I have no doubt it will perform well. I have yet to finish it, so I will update this review.
