Very accurate barrel especially if you consider the price only had it out to the range once so far. Put about 80 rounds of 55 grain lake city through it. It’s capable of 1.25 inch 10 groups with that ammo. Probably get better with higher quality ammo. Was using 18 power scope. Would definitely recommend.

I am pleased with this barrel. 18 inch fluted 223 Wylde. After about a dozen or so shots to zero the rifle I was able to put a couple 3 shot groups at 50 yards in at under 1/2 inch (.460, and .385). That equates to Sub 1 inch at 100 yards. It has a good finish and great fit in my build. I will buy from Green Mountain again.

Finished my first AR build a couple of months age but because of winter weather was unable to test fire until yesterday 3/2/20. Have not "broken in" the barrel yet but we did send 20 rounds down range. I had 4 shots within 1 1/4" at 100 yard and I figure most of the error was me. Unfortunately my scope loosened up ever so slightly but that put an end to shooting for the day.
Very pleased with this barrel. My next build will definitely be using a Green Mountain Barrel!
Now to tighten up my scope and go break in the barrel!

Built with a Superlative Arms gas piston kit . Was shooting nothing special plinking ammo, progressive loaded cheap 62 grain projectiles with CFE223 powder. At 100 yards, it shot six consecutive (no cool-down between) 5-shot groups ranging from .591" to .628" @ 100 yards. Also did one 10-shot group @ 1.253", immediately after those previous 6 groups, quite respectable for a rather hot barrel. Was using a bipod, rear bag and 10x optic. Bottom line, all my Green Mountain barrels (3 now) have either met or exceeded my expectations regardless if they were use in GP or DI systems. Great barrels and a great value!

I can't attest to the performance of the barrel as of yet. But if this barrel shoots as good as it looks, then I should be all set.
