  4. showing promise! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Oct 2020

First off, not my first build, not my first "target" rifle. So the 4 star is due to I have only just begun my load development and yet to see the true potential of this barrel. 50 rounds in and what I can tell you is the 88gr ELD-M bullets stabilized just fine over a heavy BLC-2 load. My first trip was just tuning the gas system and seasoning the barrel. By shots 40-45 I put down a 1" group. Honestly I was not expecting this. New barrel, load development, seating depth.....ect. seems like this barrel wants to go fast, 2700+ is where I saw the group tighten. I haven't stretched the legs on this yet. Tight fit, over all appearance is great. Looking to head post 1k with this one. We will see. So far so good!

great barrel. Awesome service, I really like the small town feel of the packaging. It was wrapped in the local newspaper. Very cool.
