Posted by on 8th Feb 2021

Hi i bought this barrel to rebarrel a Carcano to the 35 remington cartridge. The barrel is getting threaded for the Carcano action right now.I have one of Green Mountain Barrels on my Swedish mauser and it shoots great and i am sure this will also.A very good barrel at a great price.Thank You.

  2. my first choice on any project! 5 Star Review

I have used hundreds of GM blanks and I have never found one to be lacking. The material and tolerance is always just as advertised the staff is always great to deal with including a very quick ship time most often with in 24hrs. I have used blanks that cost several times as much that did not preform as well,I know if I build a rifle with a GM blank it will preform Beyond expectations and I will have a happy customer. Thanks for the great product and service GM if you offered Pre-tapered blanks it would be a great time saver for my small shop. I look forward to putting the J White Gunsmithing stamp into a lot more GM barrels!

  3. AR 10 build 5 Star Review

I cut and threaded your barrel blank to fit an ar10 I chambered in 358 Winchester. I've only shot it six times but after my initial sight in which took 3 shots I fired the final 3 into one hole at fifty yds. I believe it will be a great rifle. I've had great results with Green Mountain barrels in the past.

  4. So far so good. 5 Star Review

Recently got it turned down to a HEAVY sporter configuration in 358 Winchester, test fired after making the chamber. All went well, will know more once I get some loads worked up for it.

  5. Best barrel for the dollar. 5 Star Review

I've used Green Mountain barrels on a lot of rebuilds and have never found one that wouldn't shoot under a 1" group at 100 yards. I can't say the same for some of the higher priced barrels.
